1. What is Mailing List

Mailing list is one of the internet facility to discuss via email, discussion group mailing list and there are many divided into 2 categories:

1. Based on the topic, topics, mailing lists from a wide range of hobby to keep the fish on NASA research, mailing list is usually open to umm.

2. Based on certain groups, such as a mailing list Linux-Medan, HMI, Alumni-BiNus, KAMMI,

PK-Sejahtera, PAN,, PEMA, BEM, etc.. Usually this mailing list is closed, or only to members only.

2. Mailing List Registration

After registering mailing list (either via web or via email), then automatically mailing list server will send a confirmation email to the Subscriber (registrant). Check your email inbox immediately when the first registration was successful then there will be a message from the 'Yahoo Groups' with the subject

'Please Confirm Your ..', please reply this email as is (without dikotak-katik). If successful you have become subsciber (member mailing list).

3. Create your own Mailing list on Yahoo

1. Open url http://groups.yahoo.com

2. It comes after the Display As above then click "Sign In" if you already have an account on Yahoo. If not then the "Click here to register" command the same when we create email at Yahoo.com.

3. If you want to create their own group mailing list click the "Start a new Group! "Select Category mailing list and that we want to create a Group on Browse Categories, adjust with the choice provided. For example: Programming Languages etc....

4. Once completed the Click

5. Enter the Group Name

6. Enter Your Email in Group Enter your email address

7. Fill in your mailing list Describe the form of a note to the mailing list.

8. Once completed then click Continue to go to next step

9. fill in the form above and click Continue

10. If successful it will display the name of mailing list you have created. Then proceed to create your mailing list configuration by clicking the "Customize Group" or the standard if you want to go get rekan2 you to join in your mailing list by clicking "Invite People."
